Honey trap gang busts in Fazilka: 8 arrested including 5 women, 5 lakhs cash and cheques of 15 lakhs recover

In this honey trap crime one Policeman was also involved.

Fazilka: In Jalalabad of Fazilka district, police have busted a gang that used to blackmail people by trapping them in love traps through honey traps. Police have registered a case against 10 people in this case.

Surprisingly, a police employee is also involved in this gang. At present, police have arrested 8 people, including 5 women. Cash worth 5 lakhs, a car, and two checks of 10 and 5 lakhs have been recovered from them.

DSP of Jalalabad, AR Sharma, said that City Jalalabad Police has busted a gang that used to blackmail people in their trap. Police have taken action in this case and arrested 8 people, including 5 women. DSP said that the women involved in the said gang first lure a person into a love trap through the phone.

Then the person was trapped. After this the said person was called to their hideout and given a cold drink mixed with intoxicants; his obscene video was made, and he was blackmailed. This is the reason why the police have so far recovered a car, cash worth 5 lakhs, and checks of 5 and 10 lakhs from the said people.

The police say that this gang blackmailed a person named Surinder Kumar, a resident of Bagge’s Utaad. Also, a girl, Jotam Kaur, trapped the person in a honeytrap and called him to the Makhu area, mixed an intoxicant in a cold drink made the said person drink it, made a video of it, and started blackmailing him. However, in this case, 50 lakhs was demanded for a compromise. But the deal was fixed for 20 lakhs. Then the police took action on the complaint.

The gang leader girl, Jotam Kaur, is from Ludhiana. In which a case has been registered against the girl along with Jaswinder Kaur resident of Ludhiana, Sunita Kaur resident of Makhu, Krishna Rani resident of Jalalabad, Chhindo Bai resident of Jalalabad, Angrez Singh resident of Chak Mochan Wala, Sukhchain Singh resident of Kidiyawali Fazilka, Gobind Singh resident of Kidiyawali Fazilka, and police employee Amandeep Singh. Police have arrested 8 people, including 5 women, and further action is going on.
