The police said that Mohit Singhal, a resident of Sector 37 Sarai (Faridabad), said in his complaint that he was returning home with his brother Rahul Singhal on a bike after visiting. When they reached the Karman border on National Highway-19 on a bike, a vehicle coming at high speed from behind hit their bike.
Due to the collision, he, who was sitting on the bike, jumped to the other side while his brother Rahul fell on the road and the tyre of the vehicle passed over Rahul. Due to this Rahul died on the spot.
The accused fled after the incident. The people nearby informed the Hodal police station about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody, and sent it to the district civil hospital in Palwal for a postmortem. On the complaint of the injured, the police registered a case against the unknown driver and handed over the body to his family after the postmortem.
