Girl absconded in suspicious circumstances with cash and jewellery, mother files Police complaint

Ambala: A 21-year-old girl absconded from her home in Ambala, Haryana. She also took away 1.70 lakh cash and gold jewellery kept in the house. When no trace of the girl was found anywhere, her mother complained to the police station. The woman told the police that the mobile phone that her daughter had taken.

The woman told the police that the mobile phone that her daughter had taken was also switched off. She searched everywhere on her own but could not find any clue. The police have registered a case and started further action.

The victim woman, a resident of Mulberry Mandi in Ambala Cantt, said that on August 9, she had gone to work. Her 21-year-old daughter was alone at home. When she returned home at 5 pm, she saw that her daughter was not at home. All the doors and windows of her house were closed. Her daughter locked the house and took the keys with her.

When she opened the door, she found that her daughter had taken away gold earrings, rings, anklets, and Rs 1.70 lakh in cash. The woman said that she had saved this money to build her house.
