Haryana: forced from drug addiction, man commits theft in own house in Panipat

Police lodged the case after the complaint and further investigation is in process.

Panipat: In a village near Panipat a man committed theft in his own house. Actually, the young man robbed his own house forced from the addiction of drugs. In order to fulfill his need for drugs he needed money and thus he targeted his own house. For money, he stole his mother and sister-in-law’s ring.

The situation became adverse when the accused threatened his own family members when family asked about this. As per reports, he threatened to kill the family members with a sword. A complaint has been lodged with the police. The police have registered a case of theft based on the complaint by family.

In the complaint given to Chandnibagh police station, Rajpal said that he is a resident of village Ujha and his son Vikram in under the influence of wrong people. Rajpal informed police that his son takes all kinds of intoxicants. During the robbery at his own house, he stole his mother’s gold ring. Apart from this, he also stole his sister-in-law’s ring.

When the family members asked about the theft Vikram denied it. Not only this, Vikram later bought a sword and tried to threaten his family if asked more than this. His father added that he always threatened to kill the family.
