Ayushmann Khurrana’s poem

Ayushmann has shared a video on Instagram, in which he is seen reciting this painful poem in Hindi. In the video, Ayushmann said- ‘I would also sleep without latching the door, I wish I was also a boy. I would run around with friends all night , I wish I was a boy. I have heard everyone say that educate the girl, empower her and when she became a doctor after studying, my mother would not have lost the pearl of her eyes, I wish I was also a boy.’

He further said, ‘The 36-hour work became difficult, I was boycotted, I was raped, I had to face the brutality of men. I wish those men also had some womanly tenderness. I wish I was a boy. They say there was no CCTV, what would have happened even if there was. How pure would have been the eyes of the male security guard who kept an eye on her? I wish I was a boy. If I were a boy, maybe I would also be alive today.’
