According to the information, Jalandhar resident Renu Rishu was going from Ropar to Jalandhar in his Fox Wagon car. When he reached near village Answer on Nawanshahr Ropar National Highway, he suddenly fell asleep, due to which the Fox Wagon car collided with the MG Hector car going ahead. Both the cars were badly damaged in this collision. While the drivers of both narrowly escaped.
Road Safety Force ASI Kulbir Singh said that he had reached the spot after receiving information about the collision of two cars. Fox Wagon car owner Renu Rishu is a resident of Jalandhar, and the MG Hector car was being driven by Paramjeet, a resident of village Chuheki, district Jalandhar. The police have taken both the cars into custody and started further action.
