Jalandhar: Three suspects arrested after mobile phones and cash stolen in robbery

Jalandhar: Three robbers had looted the phone and Rs10,000 cash from a fruit vendor outside Maksudan Sabzi Mandi on Friday late evening and fled. On receiving the complaint, the police of Station-1 arrested the three accused during the investigation and recovered the mobile and Rs 10,000 cash. The accused have been identified as Ashok Nagar.

On receiving the complaint, the police of Station-1 arrested the three accused during the investigation and recovered the mobile and Rs 10,000 cash. The accused have been identified as Ashok Nagar residents Harkirpal Singh, Harish Kumar, and Hrithik Atwal. In the complaint given to the police, Jamwant said that he is originally from UP.

He has been selling fruits on a cart outside the market for a long time. He was working with his cart on Friday late evening as usual. Then three robbers on a bike came and threatened him and fled after looting his mobile and Rs 10,000 cash. SHO Harinder Singh of Station-1 police said that as soon as he got the information about the robbery, he had set up a team for investigation. During this, all three have been traced and arrested. The accused will be produced in court on Monday and taken on remand for questioning.
