Ludhiana : The enforcement and operation wing of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) conducted a massive raid in CRPF colony phase 1 Dugri in Ludhiana on Tuesday.
There are over 100 personnel of PSPCL divided in 15 teams accompanied by personnel from anti-riot force and city police.
According to PSPCL official, there were number of complaints regarding power theft in the colony following which a raid was planned today and over 70 percent of houses are found stealing power.
The check is still on and the action will be taken against all those found stealing power.
However, the team is facing some issues while tracing the theft as many residents have locked their residences and fled.
