Nagar Parishad Hamirpur strict on garbage disposal, new 14 vehicles started

Hamirpur: Nagar Parishad Hamirpur has started taking strict action against those who throw garbage in the open. Nagar Parishad has identified such places where people are throwing garbage from their houses in the open. Nagar Parishad has installed CCTV cameras at some of these places, while it is going to install CCTV cameras at some.

With the help of these CCTV cameras, Nagar Parishad will keep an eye on the people who throw garbage in the open and will take action against them.

Nagar Parishad Hamirpur has started 14 special garbage vehicles to collect garbage from the city and wards. These vehicles have separate compartments for wet and dry garbage, whereas earlier no compartments were made in these vehicles, but now Nagar Parishad has started 14 special vehicles to collect garbage from the city and markets, due to which it has become easier for cleaning staff to collect wet and dry garbage.

Executive Officer of Nagar Parishad Hamirpur Ajmer Singh Thakur said that the sanitation workers of Nagar Parishad are collecting garbage by going door to door. Nagar Parishad has started 14 special garbage vehicles of Mahindra in the city. He said that separate compartments have been made for wet and dry garbage in these 14 vehicles. Sanitation workers collect wet and dry garbage from the people and put it in these compartments.

He said that if people do not give garbage to the sanitation workers and garbage vehicle, then action will be taken against them. Ajmer Thakur said that cameras have been installed at some places while cameras will be installed at some places. Along with this, he said that if anyone is found throwing garbage in these cameras, then action will be taken against him under the Municipal Act and a challan will be issued.
