Loot of Rs 50,000 from liquor contractor, case registered against unknown miscreants

Hisar: Two miscreants in a car snatched cash worth Rs 50,000 from a liquor contractor resident of Surewala village of Uklana area of ​​Hisar district. The incident took place on Hisar Chandigarh main road near Barwala. Miscreants after snatching money fled from the spot. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.

In the complaint given to the police, Sanjeev, a resident of Surewala village, said that he is a liquor contractor. He said he needed money and asked for Rs 50,000 from his father-in-law Mahendra, a resident of village Panihari. He took Rs 50,000 from him and headed towards his village Surewala on his electric scooter. When he reached near Satlok Ashram Main Road, Barwala on Hisar-Chandigarh main road, a white car stopped from behind.

Sanjeev further told that persons from the car first asked for the directions and later taking advantage of the situation snatched Rs 50,000 from him and fled away. He complained and informed police about the incident. After getting the information, the police reached the spot. On the complaint of Sanjeev, the police has registered a case against the unknown and started the search.
