Preparation to contest elections from Gidderbaha

Two Sikh protesters, Gurjeet Singh of Sarwan village and Krishan Bhagwan Singh of Niamiwala village of Faridkot district, were killed in police firing on people protesting against the sacrilege incident in Bargari of Faridkot district on 14 October 2015 in Behbal Kalan. Sukhraj Singh is son of Krishan Bhagwan. He has also announced to contest elections from Gidderbaha.

He had said that he had been waiting for justice for the last nine years. “My father was murdered during a peaceful protest, but even after three governments justice has not been received. We have been questioning the leaders through protests, but whoever comes to power tries to run away. Now instead of depending on other leaders, I want to question them directly in the assembly. We will come among them in the assembly and fight them”, said Sukhraj Singh.
