The Sikh youth alleged that he was going on a bike with his friend, and the police officer stopped him, pulled him from his collar and slapped him. When the policeman tried to touch his turban, he caught the hand of the policeman.

Reacting on the video, Chowki Incharge Sandeep Pilkhwal said that there were two more youths on the bike with the Sikh youth. The Sikh youth said that there are CCTV cameras installed at the spot, if the police want, they can take out the footage and see it what exactly happened at that time. The youth who was beaten by Cop said that who gave the policeman the right to beat instead of issuing a challan.

The people present at the spot also asked the police sub-inspector to let the Sikh youth go and even said that they too had seen that there were only two people on the bike. But the sub-inspector should not have beaten him.
