In a heart-wrenching incident, a Ludhiana’s Machhiwara Sahib based 23-year-old youngster lost his life in a road accident in the United States.
The victim has been identified as Baljot Singh (23). He had been living in California for the past five years and was working as a trolley driver.
Baljot’s father, Naginder Singh, shared that he had sent his son to the U.S. in 2019, hoping to secure a brighter future for him. “He was on duty yesterday, transporting goods when his vehicle overturned, leading to his instant death,” Naginder Singh said.
A wave of sorrow has swept through Baljot’s hometown in NRI Colony, Machhiwara, as the tragic news reached his family on Thursday morning. Both his parents are said to be inconsolable.
The family also disclosed that Baljot’s sister, who lives in Australia, is expected to arrive soon. Just three days before the accident, Baljot had celebrated his birthday with friends on September 15.
