The Static Surveillance Team (SST) has recovered cash worth Rs 50 lakh from a car during a blockade in Sonipat.

According to the information, the Static Surveillance Team (SST) of the police was checking vehicles on the Gohana Road Bypass blockade. During this, a car was stopped and checked and a bag full of currency notes was found. When Dilbag Singh posted on duty and ASI Bijendra of City Police Station searched the bag, they found 20 bundles of currency notes. When the police counted the bundles of notes, they found 500 notes of Rs 500 tied in each bundle. In this way, the police recovered Rs 50 lakh in cash.

Police officials said that when the youth in the car was asked about the cash, he said that he had brought the cash from Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The youth said that he had to get the plot registered. But, he could not provide any proof related to it.
