Shimla (Himachal Pradesh):  In the midst of the mosque dispute in Himachal Pradesh, Hindu organizations and local residents took to the streets in Shillai of Sirmaur district today. The people are protesting in Shillai, demanding an investigation into the police lathi charge in Sanjauli of Shimla, verification of migrants, and the abolition of the Wakf Board.

Om Prakash, President of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti Shillai, stated that the Wakf Board is functioning as a land mafia, illegally occupying government land in many places. Therefore, it should be dissolved. He also mentioned that Bangladeshi infiltrators are entering the state, and this should be stopped.

To achieve this, verification of people coming from other states should be conducted. He emphasized that action should be promptly taken against illegally constructed mosques and tombs. He warned that if this is not done, the Hindu society will launch a strong protest.
