Hindu Outfits protest in Nahan, demand abolishment of Waqf Board

Hindu organizations demanded that the Government of India should abolish the Waqf Board and stop the construction of mosques and tombs being built illegally in the state.

Nahan: On a statewide call, Hindu organizations took to the streets under the banner of Dev Bhoomi Sangharsh Samiti in Sirmaur district headquarters Nahan today. After the protest rally, Hindu organizations here sent a demand letter to the government, in which many demands have been raised. Hindu organizations demanded that the Government of India should abolish the Waqf Board and stop the construction of mosques and tombs being built illegally in the state.

While talking to the media, people associated with the Hindu organization said that mosques are being built illegally in Himachal Pradesh, which should be stopped immediately. Along with this, he said that the illegal construction of Sanjauli mosque should also be demolished immediately.

Hindu organizations also say that a large number of people are living without identity in Himachal Pradesh, which should be investigated. He also added that criminal activities in the state have increased and are being carried out by them.  In such a situation, illegal infiltration within the state should be stopped, he added.

District Coordinator of Dev Bhoomi Sangharsh Samiti Women’s Wing Seema said that all this is being done in a planned manner in Himachal Pradesh. She also added that large number of girls are falling prey to love jihad which should be stopped immediately.
