Punjab Panchayat Elections: Candidates not getting NOCs, commotion in BDPO office

Ludhiana: Candidates who want to contest panchayat elections across Punjab are taking NOC to fill their papers. People raised slogans against the Punjab government and the current MLA of Gill constituency. They said That BDPO is giving NOC to their loved ones. Protesting people said that the panchayat elections have been announced but the administrative preparation is not complete due to which the people are suffering.

On the other hand, the local police officials reached the spot seized the opportunity, and directed the people to Khurdpur. The local police officials said that there has been no commotion of any kind in this office. They say that everyone rushes to get their NOC and in that rush, they argue with each other.

In fact, in PAU Panchayat Office One of Ludhiana, the candidates standing in Panchayats for Gill Constituency came to get their NOC. Gill Constituency of Ludhiana is said to be the largest constituency in Punjab. There are more than 100 villages in this constituency and among them. There are around 3 lakh voters, for which everyone wants to try their luck in the panchayat elections.
