Veteran actor Rajinikanth has been discharged from Apollo Hospitals in Chennai after seeking treatment for health issues. According to the Chennai Police, he left the hospital around 11 PM on October 3. A bulletin from the hospital, issued on October 1, indicated that Rajinikanth had a swelling in the aorta, the main blood vessel leaving the heart. This condition was addressed with a non-surgical procedure that involved placing a stent to seal the swelling effectively. The hospital confirmed that the procedure was successful, and stated that he was stable and recovering well enough to expect to go home within two days.

On the evening of his discharge, Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya visited the Tiruvottiyur Shri Vadivudai Amman Temple in Chennai to pray for her father’s swift recovery. On the professional front, Rajinikanth is gearing up for his much-anticipated film, ‘Coolie.’ Although details are scarce, a recently unveiled monochrome teaser has sparked excitement by showcasing the actor in a high-octane role, engaging enemies with a belt made of gold watches. This film represents a significant partnership between Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, with Sun Pictures producing the project. There are rumors that Sivakarthikeyan may have a prominent role and that Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music. The film’s release date has not yet been revealed.

Additionally, Rajinikanth will feature in ‘Vettaiyan,’ where he works alongside the iconic Amitabh Bachchan.
