The narcotics packet, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and further secured with blue tape, had a steel ring and a mini torch attached to it. The recovery was made from farming fields near Daoke Village in Amritsar district. 

 BSF remains fully committed to curbing the influx of narcotics from across the border and is continuously strengthening its surveillance and operational capabilities to dismantle drug trafficking networks in the region.
