In a major step towards digitizing the property registration system in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to launch the ‘Sampada-2.0’ software on Thursday. Following a successful pilot project conducted in the four districts of Guna, Harda, Dindori, and Ratlam, the software will now be deployed across all 55 districts in the state, as stated in an official announcement.

The launch event will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center (Minto Hall) in the state capital. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda will oversee the event. He emphasized that the successful rollout of the pilot project and the subsequent notification have positioned Madhya Pradesh as a frontrunner in the country regarding the registration and e-stamping of documents.

The pilot program, conducted in April 2024, successfully executed e-registration and e-stamping in the aforementioned districts. Following the Chief Minister’s directives, the implementation of the software for e-registration and e-stamping has been systematically completed in all districts of the state.

The new system will enable the digital registration of various documents, such as property transfers and loans, with features allowing users to view loan information secured against properties and identify properties through the custodian department. Registrants will be verified using e-KYC processes. Home-based registration and e-stamping will also be offered.

Under the updated regulations, both buyers and sellers will be verified through Aadhaar and PAN card, complemented by e-KYC and video KYC options. The software will also introduce several advanced features, including GIS property mapping, biometric identification, and automated document formatting.

With “Sampada 2.0,” documents can be generated with digital signatures, eliminating the need for in-person visits to registry offices. Additionally, registration officers will be accessible via video calls, and e-copies of documents will be available through Digi Locker, WhatsApp, and email.
