A major news story is coming out of Hoshiarpur, where a huge explosion occurred during a religious procession. According to reports, the blast happened while people were carrying a statue of Lord Hanuman, when some young men set off firecrackers, leading to a powerful explosion.
The blast shattered the windows of nearby houses and damaged parked cars as well. Two young men were seriously injured in the incident, while a few others sustained minor injuries.
After the accident, they were immediately taken to the civil hospital, and due to their serious condition, they were referred to a private hospital. Upon receiving the information, administrative officials rushed to the scene, and MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa also arrived to check on the injured at the hospital.
It’s important to note that this incident took place in Mohalla Prahlad in Hoshiarpur, where people were carrying a statue of Lord Hanuman in the morning when the young men set off firecrackers, which caught the dry grass in the area and caused the significant explosion. The explosion was so intense that it broke the windows of surrounding homes and damaged parked vehicles.
