In a tragic incident, four young lives were abruptly lost when a speeding vehicle crashed into them early Friday morning in Dhubri district, Assam.
The accident occurred near Solakhuli on National Highway 17. Three of the children died instantly, while a one-year-old later passed away from injuries while being taken to the hospital.
The victims have been named as Mariyam Khatoon, Jouai Rahman, Abu Raihan, and Mehedi Husein, all of whom were out for their usual morning walk when they were hit by the vehicle.
Reports indicate that the vehicle, with the registration number ‘AS17 L 6331’, was heading from Sagolia towards Dhubri at the time of the tragic incident. The driver involved in the accident has not yet been identified.
