Swearing-in ceremony of Haryana Government to be held on October 17: Reports

Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many Union Ministers including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states will also attend the ceremony.

Chandigarh: The swearing-in ceremony of Haryana CM will now be held on October 17. This is the third time that the date of the swearing-in ceremony of the CM of the state has been changed. Earlier, the dates of 12 and 15 October were fixed.

On Friday evening, the central leadership again called the acting Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to Delhi. Here Nayab Singh Saini met Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Parade Ground in Sector 5 of Panchkula has been chosen for the swearing-in. The stage is being built here. 50 thousand people are expected to attend the program. On Friday, former MP Sanjay Bhatia and ADGP Alok Mittal took stock of the preparations at the Parade Ground.

Before leaving for Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Saini reached the new residence of Union Minister Manohar Lal along with party president JP Nadda. Manohar Lal’s new residence is now with Home Minister Amit Shah.

The results of the Haryana Assembly elections came on October 8 (Tuesday), in which the BJP got an absolute majority. 48 seats came in the account of BJP. 3 independent MLAs also supported the BJP. In such a situation, BJP has a total of 51 MLAs. The MLAs who supported the BJP include Rajesh June from Bahadurgarh, Devendra Kadian from Ganaur and Savitri Jindal from Hisar.
