Karnal: Thieves broke into the office of a chartered accountant in Urban Estate Sector 12 area of Karnal in Haryana. In this incident, the thieves stole about 30-31 lakh rupees from the office. This money was kept with the accountant by the clients to deposit income tax and GST.
Along with this, the DVR of the camera system of the office and the networking switches from the server room have also been stolen. The complicity of the current or former staff is suspected behind the theft. The victim has complained about the matter to the police. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started an investigation.
A theft occurred in the office of a chartered accountant firm named Vinay Goyal and Associates located in Sector-12 of Karnal. Vinay Goyal, the partner of the firm, said that he had closed the office at 5:30 pm yesterday and left from there. Today at 9:30 am, when his office peon Sanjay Kumar tried to open the office, he found both the doors of the main gate of the office broken.
After getting the information that the locks of the main gate of the office were broken, Vinay Goyal reached the office and investigated, and found that about 30-31 lakh rupees were stolen from the office. This money belonged to 8-10 clients, whose income tax and GST had to be deposited. Along with this, the DVR of the camera system and the networking switches kept in the server room were also missing. The thieves carried out the incident in a very well-planned manner and no concrete clue was found during the investigation.
