Khanna: In a tragic incident, A 25-year-old youth has died due to drug overdose. The youth hailed from Salana Jeevan Singh Wala, a village near Khanna. A syringe was found near the dead body of the youth. The youth has been identified as Rahul.
The deceased was married and has a 4-year-old daughter. Now after his death his wife and daughter are left at home.
Muskan, wife of the deceased said that she kept calling her husband, but he did not pick up the phone. She reached home with her brother, but the door of the house was locked from inside. She knocked repeatedly but the door did not open, so she climbed over the wall and went inside and saw her husband lying dead.
The deceased’s wife and relatives said that Rahul used to take drugs before but had quit it for a long time, and now he was again addicted to drugs. Police officer Balkar Singh said that he had received information that Rahul, a resident of village Jeevan Singh, had died. They reached the Civil Hospital and now the case is being investigated.
