A sleeper bus running on Yamuna Expressway under Khandauli police station area of Agra caught fire. The driver showed presence of mind and stopped the bus. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The fire brigade has controlled the fire in the bus.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning. A sleeper bus going from Etawah to Delhi caught fire due to short circuit at 158 km Yamuna Expressway Khandauli. There were no passengers in this bus. The driver was going to park the empty bus with his owner in Delhi, when the bus caught fire. On receiving information about the fire in the sleeper bus, police and fire brigade reached the spot. After a lot of hard work, the fire in the bus was controlled.
