Jandiala: A son died in a road accident tomorrow in Jandiala, Amritsar, while the father was seriously injured. The police have sent the body for post-mortem, while the father has been admitted to a government hospital. According to the information, the bike of the father and son going from Jandiala to Amritsar first collided with a car. After the collision, both father and son tried to control themselves, but could not and collided with the divider and fell. Moments later, a sand tipper coming from behind passed over them and crushed them. In this accident, both the hands of the son were cut and he died on the spot, while one hand of the father was also cut and he was seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Pargat Singh, a resident of Jandiala, while the father is Jasa Singh.
According to the Jandiala police who reached the spot, they had received information that an accident has taken place in front of Bharat Petrol Pump. When they came and saw, the body of the son was lying on the road and the father was injured. After this the father has been sent to the hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the real reason of the accident has not been found yet. CCTVs are being scanned and a case has been registered against the accused. The accused will also be arrested soon, claimed the police.
