Himachal CM holds conference with DCs-SPs: Instructions issued to settle pending revenue cases

CM called the DC-SP conference of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi and Kullu districts today.

Shimla: Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today held a conference with the District Magistrate (DC) and Superintendent of Police (SP) of 7 districts at the Shimla Secretariat. In this, various schemes of the government were reviewed and necessary guidelines were given to the officials.

Let us tell you that Chief Minister Sukhu had to go to Delhi today. Therefore, he held a conference from 8 to 10 in the morning. After this, he left for Delhi. CM called the DC-SP conference of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi and Kullu districts today.

Chief Minister Sukhu directed all the district heads to deliver the schemes of the government to the people in a timely manner. Last Thursday also, the CM directed the DC-SP of Una, Bilaspur, Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts to ensure the resolution of public grievances in the office 2 days a week. For this, the government will soon issue a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Under these orders, DC and SP of all the districts will also hold public darbars in their offices and their problems will have to be resolved on the spot. This will save people from having to visit the DC office and revenue office every day. This will enable people to easily put their point before the administration.

In today’s conference, first the DCs of all the districts gave presentations on the status of various government schemes in their districts. Similarly, the SP also presented the law and order and crime statistics before the CM through a presentation.
