Vice President Dhankar in Ludhiana today, to attend international conference in PAU

Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal reviewed the arrangements being made at both places. He directed the police department to ensure adequate security as well as manage traffic and parking.

Ludhiana: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar is on visit to Punjab. Today Vice President Dhankar will be in Ludhiana where he will take part in different events.

Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal instructed the officials to make proper arrangements for Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s visit to Ludhiana on November 12. The Vice-President will preside over the Indian Ecological Society International Conference-2024, which has been organized by the Indian Ecological Society in association with the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana.

Later, the Vice President will also attend the 32nd edition of the Satpal Mittal National Awards at Satpal Mittal School. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will also participate in the Indian Ecological Society International Conference at PAU.

During a coordination meeting with civil and police department officials, Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal reviewed the arrangements being made at both places. He directed the police department to ensure adequate security as well as manage traffic and parking.

Apart from this, he also ordered the health department to appoint adequate medical staff at all places and establish necessary facilities as per health protocols.
