Jind: A case of rape of a girl has come to light in Jind. The accused raped the girl by luring her with the promise of marriage. After this the victim complained about it in the women’s police station. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim and started an investigation. The women’s police station has registered a case against Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani Road, under various sections including rape.
In a complaint given to the police, a girl resident of a colony in the city said that she knew Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani Road Khem Nagar. Sahil called her one day, after which they started talking. On August 5, Sahil took her to a private hotel in Beed Wali Dhani on the pretext of marriage and raped her there.
When the girl asked for marriage, he asked her to wait for a few days, and in the meantime Sahil continued to rape her for three months. The victim alleged that now when she talks about marriage, Sahil evaded and has also stopped talking to her.
Along with this, the accused Sahil is also threatening the girl. On the complaint of the victim, the Mahila Thana Police has registered a case against Sahil under various sections including rape and started an investigation.
