According to the information received, the person was returning home at night from a wedding. The function was held in a nearby wedding palace. The dead body of the person was found in an empty place near Jail Road.

During this, it was found that the deceased person is a resident of Navipur village of Gurdaspur district. The deceased has been identified as Bikramjit Singh son of Tarlok Singh, a resident of Navipur village. Currently, the police have taken the body into possession and started further proceedings.
