ACB arrest Sub Inspector red handed while taking bribe of Rs 12.5 lakh in Faridabad

The ACB team recovered another amount of Rs 7.47 lakh from the car of the accused Arjun Singh.

Faridabad: The Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team arrested Sub Inspector Arjun Singh posted at NIT Police Station, Faridabad district red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 12.50 lakh. The ACB team has recovered another amount of Rs 7.47 lakh from the car of accused Arjun Singh. The second accused in this case, Sub Inspector Ram, fled from the spot.

Giving information about this, the government spokesperson said that the Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau team had received a complaint in which the complainant said that a case had been registered against him (complainant) and his friend Vishal in Cyber ​​NIT Police Station, Faridabad.

Both these accused were out of jail on bail. In this case, the accused is demanding a bribe of Rs 12.50 lakh in exchange for helping the complainant and his friend and getting them bail.

Confirming this matter, the ACB team made a plan to catch the accused and arrested the accused Arjun Singh red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 12.50 lakh. The ACB team recovered another amount of Rs 7.47 lakh from the car of the accused Arjun Singh.

In this case, the second accused Ram fled from the spot. The ACB team is investigating it by collecting all the necessary evidence. This entire action was done with transparency in front of witnesses. Action has been taken against the accused by registering a case in Anti Corruption Bureau, Faridabad Police Station.
