Chetan Chauhan said that both youth and experience will be taken care of in the new executive of Congress

A two-day brainstorming session is going on at Himachal Congress headquarters Shimla to form a new party organization. All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary and State Congress Co-in-charge Vidit Chaudhary and Chetan Chauhan are discussing with all the senior Congress leaders at Rajiv Bhawan Shimla.

Chetan Chauhan said that both youth and experience will be taken care of in the new executive of Congress. He said that a new organization of Congress will be set up in the new year. For the first time in Himachal, observers are being sent to the block and district level before forming a new organization.

The AICC secretaries first held a meeting with state president Pratibha Singh, former president Kaul Singh Thakur, and Kuldeep Kumar. After this, a meeting will be held with the senior leaders of the state Congress to include officials in the new organization.

A meeting has been scheduled with the officials of the frontal organization tomorrow i.e. on 26 November.

Congress President Pratibha Singh said that the exercise has started regarding the new executive. She said that the party leaders will go to the block and district level and discuss with the party leaders about which kind of people should be brought forward so that the organization can be strengthened. After taking feedback from the field, they will report to the high command. She said that only those who work will get a position in the organization.

At present, Congress State President Pratibha Singh is the only officer in the state. The state, district and block executive committees have been dissolved by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge last month.
