Mumbai (Maharashtra): Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen at Mumbai airport on Thursday after attending an event in Dubai. She looked fabulous in a black and grey jacket paired with matching jeggings and sneakers, leaving her hair down and opting for minimal makeup. Aishwarya traveled solo this time, as her daughter Aaradhya, who usually accompanies her, was not with her.
Upon her arrival at the airport, the ‘Devdas’ star greeted the waiting paparazzi with a warm smile and a wave before getting into her car. Recently, Aishwarya shared memorable moments from her daughter Aaradhya’s 13th birthday celebrations in Mumbai, which coincided with her grandfather Krishnaraj Rai’s birth anniversary. The actress posted a series of heartfelt photos on Instagram, including a throwback of herself holding a newborn Aaradhya and moments from the birthday festivities filled with smiles and family affection. One of the photos features Aaradhya paying respects to her late grandfather’s portrait, while another captures a tender moment with Aishwarya and her mother, Brindya Rai.
On the professional front, Aishwarya was honored with the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, held in Dubai in September. She received this accolade for her performance in Mani Ratnam’s film, Ponniyin Selvan 2. This film serves as the sequel to the 2022 release of the same title, with narration by actor Kamal Haasan and music composed by Oscar-winning artist AR Rahman.
