Gurugram: Haryana’s Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh announced on Sunday that Gurugram will see significant development over the next six months. Speaking at an event, Singh, who also holds the Environment portfolio, assured that the government’s development projects would meet the expectations of the citizens.
He attributed the increased support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana to the government’s welfare policies and the positive changes they have brought to the lives of common people.
The Minister highlighted that a robust merit-based recruitment system had been established, which has strengthened the trust of the state’s lower-income communities in the government. He also noted the government’s emphasis on skill development to ensure that no youth in the state remains unemployed, providing resources for self-employment and skill enhancement.
Singh acknowledged the Haryana government’s significant development initiatives over the past decade, with new welfare schemes being introduced by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. He commended Chief Minister Khattar’s sociable nature, noting that he had worked with seven different Chief Ministers throughout his political career.
The Minister urged senior officials to focus on spreading awareness about government schemes, ensuring that no one is left out from benefiting. He also stressed the importance of completing development projects on time and using new technologies to enhance project delivery speed while maintaining quality.
