AAP’s newly elected MLAs to sworn in today, tally in assembly reaches 95

Chandigarh: The four MLAs who won the assembly by-elections in Punjab will be sworn in today (Monday). The oath ceremony will be held in the assembly at 11:30 am. Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan will swear in the MLAs. CM Bhagwant Mann is also expected to be present in the program. The family members of all the MLAs will also be present there.

At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is in power in the state, now has 95 MLAs. AAP has become the largest party.

By-elections were held in November on four assembly seats in Punjab, Dera Baba Nanak, Chabbewal, Barnala and Gidderbaha because the MLAs of these seats had become MPs.

In the assembly by-elections held during this time, Gurdeep Singh Randhawa from the Dera Baba Nanak seat, Dr. Ishank Chabbewal from Chabbewal, and Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon from the Gidderbaha seat won the elections.

All three leaders belong to the Aam Aadmi Party. This time Congress candidate Kuldeep Singh Kala Dhillon has become MLA by winning the election from Barnala seat. However, earlier this seat was occupied by AAP.
