Hisar: A toy shop in Hisar suddenly caught fire due to a short circuit yesterday. When smoke started coming out of the shop, people from nearby areas rushed to the spot. By the time the fire brigade vehicle arrived, all the goods in the shop were burnt to ashes. 3 fire brigade vehicles controlled the fire in half an hour.
The toy shop where fire was spread belonged to Shyam Sundar, a resident of Vinod Nagar, Mile Gate, near Teliya Bridge. Around 7 pm yesterday, shopkeepers from nearby areas saw smoke coming out of the shop. After this, the fire department was informed and owner of the shop was informed.
Shopkeepers said that the fire was fierce. 3 fire brigade vehicles controlled the fire in half an hour and brought it under control. Shopkeeper Shyam Sundar said that the fire has caused a loss of lakhs of rupees. Shopkeepers said that there should be a permanent fire brigade vehicle inside the market.
