Ferozepur: The body of Rashpal Singh, who was missing for five days from Hamad Chak village in Mallan Wala town of Ferozepur, has been recovered from the Ghal Khurd canals. The police have taken possession of it and sent it for postmortem.
According to the information given by the family, five days ago, Rashpal Singh had left home after asking for money but he did not return home. After that, when they searched for him, he was not found. A complaint was also registered by the family members.
During the search, Rashpal’s motorcycle and belongings were recovered from the canal bank at Gurditi Wala head, from which the search for him started and now his body has been found in the Ghal Khurd canals. The body was took out with the help of divers and the police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.
The wife of the deceased Rashpal Singh said that her husband had an illicit relationship with another woman. They have demanded an investigation into the matter and justice from the administration. Further action will be taken after the doctor’s report which will tell more details of Rashpal’s death.
