Rampur: A car fell into a deep ditch in Rampur of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh last evening. 3 people including a couple traveling in the car died. While another car passenger is seriously injured. Police have registered a case and started further action.
According to the police, this accident happened in Bhadrash of Rampur around 7 pm on Monday evening. The bodies of two deceased were recovered by 8 pm, while the body of the third deceased could be taken out of the ditch by 11 pm. Due to darkness at night, the police had to work hard to find the body of the third deceased.
The deceased have been identified as Mintu Chauhan (27) son of Yashpal Bajetli Nankhari, Sheetal wife Mintu and Alok Sharma (24 years) son of Ram Kumar Nankhari. Arun Chauhan (23) has been seriously injured in this accident. The injured is being treated at Civil Hospital Khaneri.
According to the police, four people from Bajetli village of Nankhari were going towards Nankhari in a vehicle number HP 06-B-5069. Their vehicle met with an accident about two kilometers away from Bhadrash and fell into a ditch about 200 feet deep.
The postmortem of the bodies of the deceased will be conducted today at Khaneri Hospital. After this, the bodies of all three will be handed over to their families.
