Protests held in Rajasthan against atrocities on Hindus in B’desh

Jaipur: The Sarva Hindu Samaj organized a protest in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday to condemn the atrocities, looting, and violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. A significant turnout of women, youth, and religious leaders gathered at Badi Chaupad for the demonstration. Speakers urged the Hindu community to transcend caste divisions, unite, and raise their voices against.

Jaipur: The Sarva Hindu Samaj organized a protest in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday to condemn the atrocities, looting, and violence against Hindus in Bangladesh.

A significant turnout of women, youth, and religious leaders gathered at Badi Chaupad for the demonstration. Speakers urged the Hindu community to transcend caste divisions, unite, and raise their voices against the ongoing violence.

“We must be vigilant. Division makes us weak, but unity will empower us,” emphasized the saints addressing the crowd.

The protest was marked by slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ with participants waving saffron flags and holding placards promoting “Hindu unity” while calling for the protection of Hindus in Bangladesh.

Acharya Girdhar Swami criticized Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent approach, stating, “Since the Noakhali massacre, one crore Hindus have been killed. This reflects the consequences of Gandhi’s philosophy. Today, the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh is in jeopardy, and we can’t even hold a bhajan evening in Ramganj Market. As long as we rely on the government, these atrocities will continue.”

Ram Singh Chandlai, President of the Rajput Sabha, demanded that the Bangladeshi government take strict measures to protect Hindus. Raghupati Das from Akshaya Patra urged global pressure on Bangladesh to ensure the safety of the Hindu community.

Mahant Vishnu Naga attributed the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh to leftist and Islamic fundamentalist groups, stressing the need for Hindu unity.

Chandraprakash Khetani from the Sindhi community expressed sorrow over the situation in Bangladesh and criticized the response of international organizations.

Sardar Jasvir Singh from the Sikh community condemned the arrest of an ISKCON saint as undemocratic and called for international intervention.

Raghavendra Acharya from Galav Ashram advocated for a global campaign for the release of ISKCON saint Chinmay Krishna, warning against complacency even among majority communities.

MLA Gopal Sharma highlighted the deceptive nature of the Bangladeshi government, suggesting that while it may appear liberal, real power lies with Jamaat-e-Islami and military leaders, leading to ongoing atrocities against Hindus. “Bangladesh must change its approach before it’s too late,” he stated.
