Chandigarh: Retired IAS Rajesh Khullar, close to former Haryana CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, has once again become the power center of the Chief Minister’s Nayab Saini Office (CMO). CM Saini has given him the responsibility of 21 important departments.
Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar has also been made the overall in-charge of CMO. Without Khullar, the files of these departments will not move forward. He will have important departments like Excise and Taxation, Finance, Revenue, Health, Home, Industry, Public Relations, Irrigation, Town and Country Planning.
Rajesh Khullar has also been asked to look after legislative work. Khullar has also been given the responsibility of looking into matters of legislative proposals and even issuing ordinances. Apart from this, CM’s Principal Secretary Arun Gupta has been given 9 departments. Gupta will also look after the work related to the CM’s announcements.
