Mumbai: In a bid to quell ongoing divorce rumors, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan, were spotted taking selfies together at a recent party.
Entrepreneur Anu Ranjan and actress Ayesha Jhulka shared their moments on Instagram, featuring the couple. Anu posted a picture showing Aishwarya in the foreground snapping a selfie, with her mother Brindya Rai, Anu, and Abhishek smiling in the background. They were all dressed in striking black outfits, with Aishwarya in a suit and Abhishek in a bandhgala paired with trousers. Anu captioned the photo with, “So much love and warmth,” along with pink heart emojis.
Ayesha Jhulka also shared several pictures on her Instagram Stories, showcasing Aishwarya as she clicked selfies with her fellow stars.
Recent speculation about Abhishek and Aishwarya’s marriage has intensified, with rumors suggesting an affair between Abhishek and actress Nimrat Kaur during the filming of their project ‘Dasvi’. Additionally, it was reported that Abhishek missed his daughter Aaradhya’s birthday celebrations on November 16, but a recent video confirmed he was indeed present.
The discussions about their separation began circulating last year when it was alleged that Aishwarya had moved out of the Bachchan family home. Aishwarya and Abhishek were married in 2007 after dating for a few years and welcomed their daughter in 2011.
Adding to the drama, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his frustration on X (formerly Twitter) with a post simply saying “Chup” (quiet) followed by an angry emoji, leading some netizens to speculate that it was related to the ongoing rumors about his son’s marriage.
