Jalandhar: Today, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will formulate a strategy for the 5 municipal corporations and 44 municipal council elections to be held on December 21 in Punjab. AAP’s first important meeting is going to be held under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann for the upcoming elections. The party’s national secretary Sandeep Pathak and state president Aman Arora will also be present in the meeting.
Members of screening committees of all districts have also been called to the meeting. The party is trying to get a big victory by fielding good candidates before the Delhi assembly elections.
Focus of AAP will be on the problems of the public at the local level like cleanliness, water problems, roads, parks, crime, and traffic system. In urban areas, youth and women play an important role in voting. In such a situation, focus on the government’s schemes regarding this group.
There are only 10 days left from the selection of candidates to the voting. In such a situation, the ruling party of the state will be working hard to make its base strong in the local bodies too.
