Hisar: The effect of continuous snowfall on the mountains is visible in Haryana as well. There is a continuous fall in day and night temperatures. On the second day of the weather department’s cold wave alert, a huge fall in mercury was seen. In 24 hours, the mercury fell to 1.5 degrees. This is the lowest temperature of the season. Balsmand of Hisar and Sonipat recorded the coldest nights.
Now with the cold wave, the day temperature may also fall along with the night. At the same time, the possibility of smog has also started again. At the same time, one person has died due to cold in Hisar.
According to IMD, now the cold wave will continue for the next four days. Yellow alerts of cold waves have been issued in Panchkula, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Mewat, Palwal, Hisar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri.
Weather experts say that with snowfall in the mountains, the cold has increased in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department says that the alert for cold wave will continue on December 12 as well. Due to this, the night temperature will fall by two degrees. There will be a change in the weather again on December 13. After this, there will be a possibility of an increase of 1 to 2 degrees in the temperature.
Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, at Agricultural University, said that this change in the weather has been possible due to the Western Disturbance activated in the mountains. Due to its partial effect, there are constant changes of cloud cover due to change in the direction of the wind, due to which there are chances of a decrease in the night and day temperature. However, due to clear weather and mountain winds, a drop in day and night temperature can be seen in the coming days.
