Chandigarh: Chandigarh Sector 34 police station has registered a case against the company’s managing director and others for cheating of 10 lakhs in the name of sending abroad. The accused have been identified as Dream Visa Company’s managing director Gurinder Singh alias Gauri and others.
The complainant woman, a resident of New Satguru Nagar, Ludhiana, said that she contacted Dream Visa Company located in Sector 34 in Chandigarh to go to Canada. The company assured her of sending her abroad. The people of the company took 10 lakh rupees from her in the name of getting a Canadian visa.
After taking the money, neither did the accused send her abroad nor did they return her money. The woman said that she called the accused several times and also visited their office. But the accused kept on luring her as usual. After this, the woman informed the police about the matter. The police investigated and registered a case and started an investigation.
