Chief Minister’s office steeped in corruption, outsourced workers have not got salary for 4 months: Jairam Thakur

Taking a dig at the factionalism of the Congress, Jairam said, there was a competition among the leaders to give speeches in the government program.

Shimla: Former Himachal CM and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said in a press conference in Shimla that outsourced employees have not been paid salary for 4 months. HRTC pensioners were given pension on 12 December and the Congress government spent Rs 25 crore on celebrations in Bilaspur.

Taking a dig at the factionalism of the Congress, Jairam said, there was a competition among the leaders to give speeches in the government program. Congress state president Pratibha Singh was prevented from speaking. A woman leader was insulted. When Jairam Thakur was asked whether BJP will honor Pratibha, Jairam said, it will depend on Pratibha Singh.

The Leader of Opposition said, earlier the format of the celebration program was different. Rahul Gandhi, Sonia, Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge were invited. But they refused. By doing this, the Congress leadership gave a clear message that the government is capable of working, there is no other achievement apart from this.

Jairam said, the government has spent 10 crores to save the CPS chair. Lawyers come from Delhi. Stay in five star hotels. State-guest is declared. Himachal government has paid 10 crores to them. Still the chair will not be saved.

The Leader of the Opposition said the Congress government is completely immersed in corruption. It started from the Chief Minister’s office. The government is not answering on the transaction of 25 crores with Patel Engineer Company. The government increased the work of 150 crores to 188 crores. He said that in the document named Kacha Chittha, the Sukhu government’s two years of scam has been exposed. The Chief Minister should get it investigated.
