Central security agencies are on alert regarding this. What is the dead drop model?

Chandigarh: The National Security Agency (NIA) has shared a report with the Punjab Police. In the report it has been claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to terrorize Punjab with terrorist attacks. The first target in this will be the police stations of Punjab Police. Because before this, grenade and IED attacks have taken place on about five police stations in Punjab.

After the attacks NIA has been keeping an eye on Punjab. A media report has claimed that Khalistani terrorists are attacking on the lines of the dead drop model used in 1984. Like 1984, now again an attempt is being made to terrorize Punjab. Central security agencies are on alert regarding this.

What is the dead drop model?

The dead drop model is a kind of target killing. Only in this, not a single person is targeted, a building or an institution is targeted. The accused first choose their target, then carry out the crime. This model is handed over from abroad. Also, people from the local area are selected for targeting. Who has good knowledge of the routes and is ready to join the organization.

Khalistan Tiger Force, Babbar Khalsa International and other terrorist organizations are using Chinese devices. This has been said because the NIA has found some suspicious things which are Chinese. All the items recovered are used to make terrorist equipment and to carry out blasts through AI.

Also, these devices are such that have been used by the armies of countries. In such a situation, the agency believes that the said terrorists are working in collaboration with Pakistan’s ISI.
