Amritsar: The troubles of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami do not seem to be decreasing. There he submitted his reply to the Women’s Commission and told that he had made a mistake, and he apologized for it. Women’s Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill made it clear that this matter will not end just by apologizing. Raj Lali Gill said that she has also talked to Bibi Jagir Kaur on the phone. She will soon call her and listen to her side. After this, action will be taken further.
After the matter came in the media, the Women’s Commission had sent a notice to Advocate Dhami. Dhami had reached the Women’s Commission with the answer to this. Now, the Women’s Commission can soon call Bibi Jagir Kaur and take her statement.
Last Saturday, Advocate Dhami himself submitted an apology at the Sri Akal Takht Secretariat. He had said that while talking on the phone, some objectionable words came out of me inadvertently. I apologize for the language contrary to the dignity of this post. I apologize to Bibi Jagir Kaur and all the women. Akal Takht Sahib is supreme for all Sikhs. I will follow any order given by the Akal Takht.
