Shimla: Reserved Holiday Special train started on Friday on the World Heritage Railway Track connecting Himachal’s capital Shimla to Kalka. The board started it to accommodate tourists coming to Shimla for the New Year and winter season.

According to the railway management, train number 52443 will leave Kalka for Shimla at 8:05 a.m. and reach Shimla at 1:35 p.m. The Reserved Holiday Special from Shimla will leave for Kalka at 4:50 p.m. and reach Kalka at 9:45 p.m. This train will stop at Dharampur, Barog, Solan, Kandaghat, and Summerhill stoppages.

According to the information, the fare in the general coach of the train has been fixed at Rs 75 per passenger, while the fare of the first class executive Vistadome has been fixed at Rs 945 and the fare of the first class chair has been fixed at Rs 790.
