Mumbai: When the government advised against calling children on stage, Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who has been enjoying success, responded. The singer-actor posted a number of videos to his Instagram on Saturday, showing him interacting with the audience in the arena throughout the performance.
The videos demonstrate his admirers’ love for him as they give him gifts like shawls. “I was given the advisory saying I cannot bring children on stage,” he stated in one of the videos. Don’t worry, I’ve figured out the answer. I put the ladder in place to get down from the stage, I’ll come to you guys”.
In the caption, Diljit wrote, “Shut down, shut down, Mumbai.” Year 24 of the DIL-LUMINATI Tour. Buggey Eh Dosanjhanwala.
The Punjabi singer had already pointed the purported “conspiracy” against him about the spelling of the Indian state of Punjab.
The actor-singer also discussed the same thing on his X, which was formerly Twitter. He wrote a lengthy letter in which he also discussed how difficult English is and how it might be especially problematic for people whose first language is not English.
“Punjabi,” he wrote. It becomes a conspiracy if I inadvertently failed to raise the Indian flag after putting “Panjab” in a tweet. After saying “Panjab” in a Bengaluru tweet, I neglected to include the Indian flag, and it turned into a conspiracy.
He further mentioned, “If you write ‘Panjab’ instead of ‘Punjab’, it will remain ‘Punjab’. Panj Aab – 5 Rivers. Bravo, those who create conspiracy around the usage in a language of the Englishmen. You know what, I will write ‘Panjab’. How many times do we prove that we LOVE INDIA. Bring something new, or is creating conspiracy is what you get paid for? #Vehley”.
